Another way to support: BECOME A PATRON

As a young freelance visual artist in a very competitive Los Angeles, jobs and finances can be a bit of a bumpy road. If you aren’t able to book my services, another way to offer your support is by becoming a Patron!

Prologue Patron - $3 per month

When you become a "prologue patron," you gain access to HD photos for use as wallpaper backgrounds or whatever suits your fancy. You'll also gain access to journaled filmmaking tips of mine which I'd strongly suggest following as I navigate throughout my career.

Peepin’ Patron - $9 per month

When you become a "peepin' patron," you'll gain access to view a number of work-in-progress videos, all broken down step-by-step so that you can understand my methods of video post-production. You also have the same benefits as tier 1 patrons, and will receive a pack of printed hand-drawn stickers in the mail from me!

  • [UNTIL JULY 17TH ONLY] Early Access to ALL content I finish!

Penultimate Patron - $20 per month

Soon after becoming a "Penultimate Patron," you'll find a print of mine wrapped in cardboard on your doorstep. This print will be of your choosing, of course, and will come with a few free stickers. This tier also includes tier 1 and 2 benefits as well.

As a top-level patron, you have even more benefits! If you remain a penultimate patron, after one month you will receive a custom mug in the mail. At two months, a custom poster print. At three, a custom tote, and at four, a custom T-shirt, all to thank you for your generosity in supporting a small artist.

  • [UNTIL JULY 17TH ONLY] Early Access to ALL content I finish!

Once becoming a patron, your funding will help further the creation of my merchandise as well as pursuing my filmmaking career so that the lovely people of the world may enjoy little pieces of my heart & soul. <3

HOURLY RATES

My rates vary due to levels of difficulty, hours, travel, photo/video shooting differences, post-prod. editing, etc. I also charge half upfront.

Soon after you contact me, I will begin the process by asking a series of questions to give you a pricing estimate. Some of these questions will consist of:

  • What will I be filming/photographing/editing?

  • Are there multiple shooting locations?

  • Would I be shooting both photo & video?

  • What are the vibes of the video?

  • What will the talent(s) be doing?

  • Is the editing style fast/slow paced?

  • Is there a budget that you have in mind?

  • Would there be other people/crew members I would work with?

  • What would be the length of the finished video? / your estimate for how many photos you’ll need for the finished product?

  • Would you want me to edit the video for you as well, or would someone else be editing it? *

* My shooting style shifts accordingly if someone else edits post-production, only so the footage would be easier for them to cut through. If I end up editing the video, editing fees will also apply as a second payment (half of my filmmaking style stems from my editing, so a product without my own post-production will look different).

  1. PHOTO SERVICE | $65.00 / hr

  2. VIDEO SERVICES | $75.00 / hr

  3. VIDEO & PHOTO SERVICE | $95.00 / hr

  4. EDITING SERVICES | $20.00 - $40.00 / hr, although prices may vary depending on project.

If my prices are too high for you, I would still love to work something out. If you have alternative benefits or offers instead of payment for my services, let me know!

If you’d also rather have a flat rate instead of hourly, I’d need to know the details before giving you said rate. I always do my best to ensure that the client is satisfied with the finished product & gets their money’s worth.

ASSISTANT SERVICES

With a lot of my jobs, I usually have an assistant that tags along to help me in case the shooting gets bumpy, if the client would like BTS services, or if the client would like more photos for a discounted rate.

Colleen McPhillips

is my trusty & reliable assistant photographer. As a kindred spirit of mine who’s helped on many projects, I can vouch that you’ll be happy with her services.
