Much like the other people of the world, the pandemic had me cooped up inside my home while the natural wonders of the corners of this world were wasting away to imagination. With this hammer striking just after my upbringing of the depression that my mom’s death had put me through, having lost my entire last third half of high school life & the last few years of childhood to covid was the cherry on top. Two of my best buds and I decided we had enough of this nonsense and dropped all of our money onto a spontaneous backpacking trip across the European lands at the ripe age of 18 years old.
